The Hull that closed down.

Hull nostalgia streetwear — premium blanks, loud heritage prints.

A love letter to the Hull that isn't there any more

'Ulltmate started with a simple, slightly daft idea: the best bits of Hull are the ones that closed down. The nightclubs you queued round the block for. The record shop under the City Hall. The supermarket your nan did the big shop at. The burger joint on the walk home.

They’re gone — but they’re not forgotten, not while people still talk about them. So we bring them back: each one redrawn as a graphic and put back out into the city on a proper tee or hoodie. The hook is simple. Recognition. "I was there."

What we're about

Three things we never budge on.

  • 01

    Real places

Every design revives a genuine Hull institution — and keeps its own colours and typography. No made-up nostalgia.

  • 02

    Premium blanks

Proper heavyweight tees and soft fleece-lined hoodies, printed to order in Hull. The garment stays quiet so the print can shout.

  • 03

    The story's the point

Every product carries its heritage. We tell you what the place was, why it mattered, and why it’s worth wearing.

Made in Hull, for people who were there

We’re a small, independent Hull outfit — not a big-city label pretending to be local. Everything is made to order, so we’re not sat on landfill, and every drop is a chance to bring another lost place back to life.

Got a place you think deserves a print — a club, a caff, a shop, a sign? We’re all ears. The best ideas come from people who were there.

The people behind it

’Ulltmate is a labour of love from a small team who grew up with these places and refuse to let them be forgotten.
